From Knightsbridge to Kléber - The Peninsula Paris on display in Harrods

September 01, 2014

If you’re in London between 2 September until 7 October 2014, take a trip to Knightsbridge for a glimpse of The Peninsula Paris at Harrods, London’s most prestigious department store, as two of the world’s most luxurious heritage brands come together.

A window display on Hans Crescent features a spectacular night shot of the newly opened hotel, together with 200 crystal leaves, miniature versions of the hotel lobby’s stunning “Dancing Leaves” art installation of 800 hand-blown crystal leaves inspired by the plane trees lining Avenue Kléber and created by the renowned Lasvit atelier – just one of the magnificent works of art by French and international artists throughout the hotel. Six digital windows along Harrods’ façade showcase additional images of the hotel, while the Parisian influence continues into October with images of the hotel on four giant screens at various entrances and escalators around the store from 1 to 28 October 2014.

Both Harrods and The Peninsula Paris are a paradise for luxury shopping - Harrods in the heart of fashionable Knightsbridge, while The Peninsula on Avenue Kleber in the elegant 16th arrondissement is just steps away from the Champs Elysées, Faubourg St Honoré and Paris’ most exclusive luxury stores, together with eclectic boutiques, heritage brands, restaurants and cafes.
