Kung Hei Fat Choi from The Peninsula Paris!

The Peninsula Paris surprised its guests on 7th February with unique Chinese culinary experiences rhythmed by the sound of the tambourine echoing into the lobby.

 

In LiLi restaurant, Chef Chi Keung Tang treated local residents and guests with a typical eight-course dinner, featuring mouth-watering Cantonese dishes, served amidst the spectacular décor of LiLi inspired by the Chinese and French Operas.

During the evening, guests were surprised by the sensational entrance of a Chinese artist’s troupe, performing with dexterity, the traditional dances of the Lion and the Dragon, practically making the walls shake at the beat of the drums.

To conclude the night on a sweet note, guests staying at the hotel found an array of exotic sweet and savoury delights, along with the traditional lucky red envelopes containing gold chocolate coins: carrying good luck, health and prosperity for the Year to come in their rooms.
