Peninsula Paris hotel facade and view on the Arc de Triomphe

The Peninsula Paris Moments Campaign

Experience Paris in Peninsula-style with a spectacular view of The City of Light. Peninsula Moments captures the enviable energy of the city, with a journey through the eyes of the staff of the hotel, breath-taking skyline views , behind-the-scenes insights into the kitchens, splendid suites and an ending with an intimate rooftop dinner at L’Oiseau Blanc.

More ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

  • Peninsula Paris hotel's facade with view of the Arc de Triumph

The stunning restoration of the hotel’s facade required about 20 master stone masons bringing back to life the flowers, bows and ribbons of the 10 000 m² surface. Each cascade of flowers required three weeks of work by one stonemason, with the creation of the smallest bow taking 12 hours. The rooftop terraces and gardens – very rare in Parisian hotels - have been exquisitely designed and landscaped with a variety of local plants and shrubs. Meanwhile the white cyclamens in each window box are carefully tended each day by The Peninsula’s housekeeping staff.

  • Peninsula Paris private dinner party with musicians on the terrace of L'Oiseau Blanc

The terrace of L’Oiseau Blanc - Paris’ most exclusive rooftop terrace – offers spectacular views over the city’s most iconic monuments. The Eiffel Tower sparkles every night on the hour, and so where better than to enjoy the view with friends over dinner? This Peninsula Moment involved not only a score of extras including a group of musicians, but also 18 bottles of champagne, 500 white roses and 12 kilos of caviar - and the kind support of the luxury houses of Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Barney Cheng and Petrossian.

  • Peninsula Paris pageboys biking at Le Louvre

A simple shot of two pages cycling through Paris’ celebrated Louvre? Almost – but this shoot also included one bicycle accident and three pageboy hats blowing away in the wind, plus an indomitable group of tourists who were convinced that a major international star was concealed in one of the pageboys uniforms and were refused to be persuaded otherwise!

Rolls-Royce and The Peninsula Hotels have been linked in a tradition of motoring excellence since 1970 when The Peninsula Hong Kong placed its first order for seven cars. Almost fifty years later, Rolls-Royces are found at most Peninsula hotels, including four magnificently restored 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantoms. One of these is at The Peninsula Paris, together with a Rolls-Royce EWB Phantom II, two MINI Cooper S Clubman and ten BMWs - all liveried in the traditional Peninsula Green – to transport guests around the City of Light in ultimate style.

As Asia’s first luxury brand with a heritage dating back to 1866, The Peninsula Hotels follow Chinese cultural tradition with guardian lions flanking the entrance to each Peninsula hotel around the world to protect the building and its inhabitants from bad spirits. The two large stone Chinese lions at the Avenue Kleber entrance continue this custom. The iconic Peninsula pageboys – similarly, a hallmark of every Peninsula since the opening of the very first Peninsula hotel in Hong Kong in 1928 – are on hand to assist guests with tasks both big and small.
